Some differences are that easy to install and use. Installation of electric fireplace requires about five minutes but the gas fireplace takes time to install. Another difference is that gas fireplace can be turned on even if you don’t have power.
Google will more clarify these differences. Check other websites for fireplaces. And according to your requirement choose one.

Electric fireplaces are easier to install and safer because they don't produce real flames or harmful gases. They also come with remote controls for convenience. However, they might not heat as much as gas fireplaces.
While gas fireplaces can provide more heat and a realistic flame effect, which some people like for the cozy atmosphere. But they need proper ventilation and maintenance to stay safe, and there's a risk of gas leaks if they're not installed correctly.
So, if safety and ease are top priorities, go for electric. If you want more heat and a traditional feel, gas might be better. It all depends on what you prefer for your home.
