Can I extend beyond 4m?

Hi

There is already a double storey extension of around 3m on our detatched house, and I would like to extend further. Is it possible to get permission for say 5m, or is it only ever 4m and nothing further?

THe laws has changed, its no longer to do with meters but with degrees. If your out more than 20-25 degrees from you neighbours last part of the building then you wont get permission. Dont ask me how they calculate it, all done on paper.
