Front and back road

Hi
I am looking at purchasing a house with a road to the front and a lane to the back of the house. Does the lane at the back remove permitted development rights for rear extensions?

I am confused as to whether the rear lane means that the back of the house also fronts onto the lane.

What is the lane used for… as a main or secondary access to an area?

Leigh road is the main access
Dew lane is the secondary access to the house and maybe primary access to one property that I can see
