Garage Pitched Roof

I have a pitched roof on my attached garage which is about 1m less than the bungalow roof. Do I need planning permission to raise the garage roof to the same height as the bungalow roof

Is this attached garage different to the detached garage mentioned in your other post?

Yes the attached garage is to the right of the property while the detached garage is to the left of the property

My neighbour's and my garage are located between our houses and form one building with a flat roof. We are now considering converting this into a pitched roof, which will have the ridge 1.5 M higher than the existing roof. Do we need a building permission?

Assuming you are in England, you will require both Planning and Building Regulations.
