Garden and Land - still residential >

Hi,

We have purchased a small 'land and garage'.

Both are in a residential area and used to belong to the adjacent house/property.

Can we use the 'land and garage' independent of the original property?
As a garden and the the garage for a car etc.

We have other agricultural land nearby which can be considered associated to the 'land and garage', assuming the 'land and garage' is still considered as residential land.

Isn’t that more of a legal/title question as opposed to Planning?

That sounds like it would come once the legal/title situation has been reviewed and rectified.
