Move garage in back garden

We are looking to buy a house which covers a corner plot. What permission would we need/regluations would we have to adhere to if we wanted to move the garage to a different place in the garden?

Hi Emma,

Please find attached the following link which I found really helpful. As I understand, provided the new garage is not going to extend any closer to the highway (than the existing house), then in principle you should be okay subject to size/height criteria being met. If you are struggling, I would suggest you contact one of the planning consultants on the website who will be able to help you out.
