New gable end window for attic conversion

Hi all
Does this come under permitted development on a detached house on second floor in attic? Window would be facing highway at front of house with no overlooking issues. It would be cut into existing gable brickwork. Thanks!

If it’s a side facing window, it’d need to be obscured and have no openings below 1.7m above internal floor level. If you want the window to be clear glazed and/or have openings below 1.7m, you’ll need Planning.
