On what grounds can permission to demolish be refused?
The building is old but unlisted, it is just outside conservation area but in AONB. The building has recently been flagged for consideration in the conservation area reappraisal (at some point in the future).

Depends what the LPA’s policies are along with what type of application you’re looking to submit.

Damian, I want to use the space for parking two cars. Parking is at a premium.

As mentioned, it’ll depend on your LPA’s policies. Because the area has been flagged for a future use/status, you may face some resistance from the LPA should you decide to proceed with an application.
