hi desperately need answers !! we had a wall in fact 3 walls and railings at the front of our house . a car crashed into our house and took steps out and my kitchen too in tje basement . well we had new garden walls built with railings to feel more secure as we love on a bend !! now someone in oir rd complained to tje council it is too high . we done it for security reason so if a car came round the nend it would hit the wall and electric gate but council are saying no we have photos of old wall please help my history has had 3 heart attacks in a month with stress

Planning is required for walls/gates/fences that exceed 1m when adjacent to a highway. Unless you are replacing an existing wall/gate/fence that may have been higher.
