How close can i build an outbuilding to a residential property when utilising my permitted development rights

Hi Chris,
As long as your property is not listed or in a conservation area, under permitted development guidance there is no specific distance that the outbuilding must be from the main building. It would have to remain 'detached' otherwise it becomes an 'extension'.
