Hi - Can you please let me know if TPO's affect class A or E household PD rights and the area on which you can build?

I have read a few conflicting comments on the subject and hope someone can clarify?

thanks, Sarah

If you choose to submit a LDC application, the LPA’s Arboricultural Officer should not be invited to comment.

PD does not give you rights to build under or near to protected trees.

thanks Damian - is there a definition on how far away any new building would need to be?

A general rule of thumb is a protected tree’s RPA (Root Protection Area) is 15m.
