We are having a dormer built o. A bungalow, the dormer is on the side elevation.
We are putting in two windows with obscured glass with openings above 1.7M.
However a neighbour two doors down is not happy and is saying we shouldn’t have any windows on a side elevation. I thought the Technical guidance was pretty clear and we are meeting it. Am I missing anything?
We had put letters through all the neighbours doors informing them and to contact us if they had any concerns.

The PD guidance is as you stated, obscured glass and no openings below 1.7m above internal floor level.
Ask your neighbour why you’re not allowed and/or which policy or guidance rates to his claim.
