Planning permission for a pontoon????

Do I require planning permission for a pontoon on the river Itchen?, I already have a private slipway, but would like to add a pontoon alongside it. I've looked at the relevant local authority information, but not got anywhere useful.

Work in and around a main river is regulated by permit. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/flood-risk-activities-environmental-permits#check-if-the-activity-is-on-a-main-river

Send as much detail to the national customer contact centre, and they will then contact your Hampshire EA to assist you in obtaining your permit

I was looking for some advice. I am part of a club on the River Leven.
I was wondering if the club is responsible for supplying a postcode, when asking for planning permission.

It isn’t essential as grid co-ordinates can also be provided.
