Replacing a van body with shipping container

I have used a Luton van body (body only) to store my own items in on a piece of land I own a few meters from my back gate.
The land in question is not within the boundaries of my
Home but separate.
The van body has been in position for more than twenty years without complaint or challenge from any party.
Could I replace the van body with a 20 foot shipping container without applying for planning permission.
The shipping container is five feet longer and eighteen inches wider than the van body.
Regards to all

A replacement is treated as new and outside of your curtilage means it would technically require Planning.

Ok.Even though a movable structure

If it has wheels, then that may be a different story. You could argue a lot of outbuildings can be moved/are moveable.
