We've been waiting 2.5 years for a decision on our planning application.

Hello all,

As the title suggests, we've been waiting 2.5 years for a decision on our planning application for 2 x 3 bed detached dwellings. We've been incredibily frustrated by the situation for a long time now as you can imagine, but have not wanted to rock the boat and potentially negatively affect the decision. But it's getting beyond a joke now. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has experienced anything similar? I get this feeling this is unheard of. The guidance on our local council website is that a decision should be made within 8-12 WEEKS!
